At the heart of the industrial Midlands, this Victorian engineered railway bridge carried traffic over a canal. The canal lives on, the railway, sadly no more. What is now a thoroughfare for cyclists and walkers alike, was once a highway for horse and man, navigating the winding canal hauling anything from coal to chocolate.
A short tunnel, one side the way home, ‘the other side’, the unknown.
